Peter Motel, M.D.
Dr. Motel received his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Einstein Medical Center and in Dermatology at Jefferson University. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He served four years as a physician in the United States Air Force after which he started Dermatology Associates of Phoenixville and Valley Forge.
He has been in the private practice of Dermatology since 1993. He grew up locally, is a graduate of Conestoga High School, and lives in Berwyn with his wife and three children.
His areas of professional interest are skin cancer detection and treatment, treatment of eczema, treatment of psoriasis including biologics, and all aspects of general dermatology. Dr. Motel sees patients of all ages and conditions. Dr. Motel also treats problematic spider veins of the legs.
Sharon Zellis, D.O.
Dr. Zellis is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a graduate of Emory University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Zellis completed a rotating internship year at PCOM, followed by an internal medicine residency at Abington Hospital at which time she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Her career subsequently led her to Buffalo, New York for a one year clinical research fellowship in Dermatology.
She returned home to the Philadelphia area to complete a 3 year dermatology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she served as chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Zellis is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and she has been practicing dermatology at Phoenixville Dermatology Associates for over 20 years. Dr. Zellis is committed to delivering the highest quality of dermatological care in a compassionate and respectful manner. She holds a special interest in skin cancer prevention and detection, pediatric and adolescent dermatology, pigment disorders, eczema, psoriasis, and aging skin. She performs detailed skin examinations and remains current in her therapeutic options.
Dr. Zellis enjoys seeing multi-generational family members and servicing all their dermatological needs. Her osteopathic and internal medicine background contribute to her comprehensive and holistic approach to dermatologic care.
Brett Miller, M.D.
Dr. Brett B. Miller is a board-certified Dermatologist and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Miller is a graduate of Penn State University and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Following graduation, he completed his internship training at Crozer Chester Medical Center and his Dermatology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Miller completed his fellowship training in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology under the expert guidance of Nathaniel Jellinek, MD at Dermatology Professionals, Inc. in Rhode Island. Dr. Miller is among only 1400 physicians in the country who are fellowship-trained in this field.
Dr. Miller’s fellowship training included Mohs micrographic surgery with an emphasis on surgical technique and reconstruction, the comprehensive management of skin cancers and extensive experience in the management of nail disease and nail surgery. He also specializes in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Miller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has authored numerous publications in prominent medical journals, and is a recipient of the Fellow-in-Training Clinicopathologic Case Competition Award.
Cara Cohen, PA-C, MPAS
Cara Cohen, PA-C, MPAS, is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology since 2004. She obtained her Bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University and her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University.
Cara provides comprehensive dermatological care to patients of all ages.
Cara has trained extensively in Cosmetic Dermatology procedures including Botox, injectable fillers, and laser and light based treatments. She believes strongly in educating her patients and working together to develop a customized treatment plan to enhance skin health and beauty. Patients greatly appreciate Cara’s conservative and natural approach to cosmetic treatments.

Rachel Calamari, MSN, CRNP, A-GNP-C
Phoenixville Dermatology is excited to welcome Rachel Calamari, CRNP. Rachel will begin seeing patients December 03, 2024.
Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Moravian University. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Villanova University.
She began her medical dermatology career by completing an Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program. The program combined rigorous academic and clinical training by top dermatologists, which allowed Rachel to gain firsthand experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Rachel is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (SDNP). Rachel is dedicated to providing thorough, patient-centered, dermatological care to all of her patients.
When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She also enjoys Peloton, cooking, trying new restaurants, and entertaining family and friends.
Lisa Gresko, RN
Lisa Gresko, BSN, RN started with Dermatology Associates as a medical assistant in 2005. She went on to receive her nursing degree from Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in 2017, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University in 2018. Lisa is a Certified Aesthetic Laser Operator and a member of the National Council on Laser Certification.
She is a certified Mohs technician and is a member of the National Society for Histotechnology as well as Dermatology Nurses Association.
Lisa loves the diversity that the field of dermatology offers and enjoys the close family feel she finds working for Dermatology Associates. She has the opportunity to help patients in many ways, including assisting in their surgical procedure and helping them look and feel better by providing cosmetic services. Improving the quality of patient’s skin by performing microdermabrasions and facials along with creating custom skin care regimens are among some of Lisa’s specialties. Lisa considers the most important part of her job to be educating patients and making them feel comfortable while in her care.
When she is not working hard at Dermatology Associates, Lisa enjoys hiking with her husband and Doberman, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
